- The round begins with placing bets. The baccarat table has 7 seats, therefore accepts 7 players at any one time. Participands have 35 seconds to place their wagers, after which the gorgeous Asian dealer will start dealing cards from the shoe. As per usual, the game revolves around the “battle” between the Player and the Banker. Both the Banker and the Player will receive at least 2, but no more than 3 cards in each round. Special rules are applied when it comes to dealing a third card. The Player needs to get a third card for every hand total of 0 to 5. The Banker needs to take the third card for every 2-card hand total of 0 to 2 with the following applying to other cases:
- Banker total is 3 – if Player total is 8, then no need to get a 3rd card
- Banker total is 4 – if Player total is 1,8,9,10, then no need to get a 3rd card
- Banker total is 5 – if Player total is 1,2,3,8,9,10, then no need to get a 3rd card
- Banker total is 6 – if Player total is 6/7, then get a 3rd card
- Banker total is 7 – do not get a 3rd card
- If 2-hand total values of Banker/Player are 8 or 9, cards are revealed and the winner is evaluated. Of course, there is also the possibility of ending the round in a Tie. The odds of placing the Banker bet are 1:0.95 (5% commission is charged), Player bet odds are 1:1 and Tie bet pays 1:8. Banker Pair and Player Pair side bets pay at 1:11 odds, no commission.
